Online continuous effluent monitoring (OCEMS) measures what leaves a treatment plant - pH, flow, BOD, COD and TSS - and sends it to the pollution control boards as it happens. We supply the analysers and flow meters, install the data logger, connect the station to HSPCB and CPCB, and keep the data flowing.
Our team works from Sirsa and has installed flow monitoring at PHED and GMDA sewage treatment plants across Haryana since 2019.

What Haryana requires
In November 2025 the National Green Tribunal told the Haryana State Pollution Control Board to make sure grossly polluting industries comply: units discharging more than 10 KLD must install OCEMS for pH, flow, BOD, COD and TSS, and units below 10 KLD must fit flow meters and web cameras at their outlets. The CPCB report before the tribunal counted 812 defaulting units in Haryana.
Sewage treatment plants are specified the same way. Recent PHED tenders ask for an online outlet effluent water quality monitoring system with the data up-linked to CPCB, HSPCB and PHED, and an electromagnetic flow measurement device on the inlet and the outlet.
What we deliver for a Haryana plant
- Outlet effluent quality
- COD, BOD, TSS, TOC, turbidity and temperature from one optical probe, with a separate pH electrode; ranges set to your consented limits.
- Inlet, outlet and bypass flow
- Electromagnetic flow meters on full pipes, or a Parshall flume with an ultrasonic probe on open channels and bypass lines.
- HSPCB connectivity
- Each station connected to HSPCB's server under its OCEMS ID; the data format the board accepts is tested before regular sending starts, and only valid readings are sent.
- CPCB connectivity
- The same readings go to CPCB's new OCEMS portal as 15-minute values, encrypted with the credentials CPCB issues for each device.
- PHED reporting
- Live dashboards and daily and monthly reports for the PHED division, with every submission to a board logged with the board's reply.
- Our own field team
- Installation, calibration against standards, cleaning and repairs by a team based in Sirsa.

Questions from Haryana plants
Does a small industry need full OCEMS?
Under the NGT order reported in November 2025, units discharging more than 10 KLD must install OCEMS, and units below 10 KLD must fit flow meters and web cameras at the outlet. Your consent conditions decide the details: send us your consent to operate and we will tell you what applies.
What do you need from us before installation?
Power with earthing and a UPS, internet by LAN or a mobile SIM, wall space near the outfall, and the plant's consent order and station particulars for registration with the boards. The full list is on the water analysers page.
Can the data also go to our own SCADA or the municipal server?
Yes. The same readings can be sent to any other server over HTTP or MQTT, each in its own format and at its own interval, without a second data logger.
